RUSHBURY HOUSE FARM - Beef roasted for the carvery refreshments

Team

Pete & Lavinia Sidgwick

About the business

Pete & Lavinia Sidgwick have been farming at Rushbury House Farm, close to Cheltenham, for over 25 years. In response to increasing concern over farm produce not being available locally, and other enviromental issues, the Sidgwicks have sold their lamb and beef direct to the public from the farm since 2002. Rushbury Farm hold "Beef Days" once a month when fresh meat can be collected direct from the farm - only about 5 miles from Cheltenham.
Grass fed Aberdeen Angus cross beef and Suffolk cross lamb from the Cotswold hills. Beef hung for four weeks & lamb for one/two weeks. Meat can be collected fresh or frozen. Please phone or email first.
The stock spend their whole lives on the farm, and a combination of breed type and good husbandry - no antibiotic growth producers or hormones - guarantee Rushbury meat is of the highest quality.
Also, beef and lamb are available frozen - the more expensive cuts do go quickly! Space prohibits putting up their price list here, but e- mail Lavinia lavinia.sidgwick@quinweb.net and she will happily send you a price list.
If you want to reduce your "Food Miles" but enjoy the finest quality local lamb and beef please contact Rushbury Farm.

Pete & Lavinia sadly cannot be at the Festival but have generously given us some beef for The Belle House to roast for the carvery.
